Van Nguyen

Van Nguyen, DO, is an Associate Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. He is actively involved in clinical research, medical education, and residency training, with a focus on primary care and geriatric medicine.

Research Interests: Dr. Nguyen's research spans several key areas in family and preventive medicine, including geriatric pharmacology, medication safety in older adults, complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) interactions, substance use disorders in aging populations, preventive screening, and health equity. His work often addresses clinical challenges in underserved and elderly populations.
