Valery Khabashesku is an Adjunct Professor in the Materials Science and NanoEngineering department at Rice University. He holds a Doctor of Science (DSc) from the Russian Academy of Sciences and has extensive industry experience as Head of the Nanotechnology Center of Excellence at Baker Hughes, where he contributed to oilfield nanotechnology innovations. His research focuses on nanomaterials chemistry, surface functionalization, and applications in energy, aerospace, and biomedical fields.
