Valery Augustin

Valery Augustin is an Associate Professor of Practice at the USC School of Architecture, where he teaches courses such as Workshop in Architecture and Architectural Technology. He is the founder and principal of DNA Architecture + Design, a Los Angeles-based multi-disciplinary firm focusing on community-oriented projects, urban issues, and architectural representation. His work has been exhibited at institutions like the National Building Museum and recognized with AIA awards. Prior to founding DNA, he worked at firms including Swanke Hayden Connell Architects and Oppenheim Architecture and Design.

Education: B.Arch., University of Miami; M.Arch., University of California.

Research interests include urban challenges, architectural representation, and sustainable design. He has led initiatives such as PropX, Inventing the Next LA, addressing affordable housing and urban sustainability.
