Valeriu Gonciaruc

Valeriu Gonciaruc is an Associate Professor and Leading Scientific Researcher at the Laboratory of Thermo- and Hydrodynamic Processes within the Institute of Applied Physics (IAP), part of the Academy of Sciences of Moldova. His primary affiliation is with the University of Moldova (USM). He holds a Ph.D. and specializes in advanced materials processing, thermodynamics, and electrophysical techniques. His research focuses on magnetofluidization for material activation, nanomodification of construction materials, and electrochemical processing of food and agricultural byproducts.

Key projects include development of sustainable concrete mixtures via magnetofluidized layer technology, recovery of nutrients from dairy waste, and environmental applications of nanotechnology. He has contributed to over 20 peer-reviewed articles since 2004, with recent work emphasizing nanostructuring, water purification, and bioethical issues in medical practice during crises.
