Valerie Sauda

Valerie Sauda is an Associate Professor in the School of Nursing at Husson University's College of Health and Pharmacy. She holds roles as Chief Nurse Administrator and Undergraduate Director. Her expertise spans gerontology, rural healthcare, and nursing education.

Education: PhD in Interdisciplinary Studies (University of Maine), MSN in Community Health Nursing (University of Southern Maine), BA in Biology. She graduated from the pioneering Master’s Options nursing program.

Research focuses on gerontological nursing, rural healthcare challenges, and nursing education innovation. She is certified by ANCC as a Gerontological Nurse and serves as an MGS Fellow.
