Valerie Chambers joined Weber State University in 2017 as an Associate Professor in the School of Accounting, Finance & Taxation at the Goddard School of Business & Economics. She holds a PhD in Accounting from Arizona State University (2017), a Master of Accountancy (MAcc) from Arizona State University, and a Bachelor of Professional Accountancy from Oklahoma Baptist University.

Her research focuses on judgment and decision-making processes in accounting, particularly regarding auditor behavior. She teaches introductory financial accounting courses at the Goddard School.
Notable awards include the Federation of Schools of Accountancy Student Achievement Award (2010), KPMG's Exceptional Performer rating (2006-2009), and KPMG's Standing Ovation excellence award (2006, 2007).
