Valentīna Urbane is a Lecturer and researcher at the Institute of Occupational Safety within Riga Technical University. Holding a PhD in Chemistry, her work focuses on occupational safety, hazardous substance management, and risk reduction. She has authored textbooks like Radiation and its Danger and contributed to the study course Safety of the Use of Hazardous Substances.
