Valentina Migliorati is a Researcher in the Department of Chemistry at University of Rome La Sapienza, specializing in structural analysis of complex systems through integrated computational-experimental approaches.
Her research develops novel methodologies combining Molecular Dynamics simulations with X-ray absorption spectroscopy (XAS) and diffraction techniques to investigate: 1) Hydration dynamics of metal ions and lanthanides; 2) Solvation properties in organic solvents; 3) Structural organization of pure ionic liquids and water mixtures.
She holds habilitation as Associate Professor in General and Inorganic Chemistry and contributes to advancing spectroscopic-computational synergies for disordered system analysis. Current work focuses on force field development and solvation phenomena in ionic systems.
