Valentina Garibotto

Valentina Garibotto, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor at the University of Geneva and Division Chair of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG). She leads the CIBM PET HUG-UNIGE Molecular Imaging Section and focuses on leveraging molecular imaging to advance diagnosis and therapeutic approaches in neurodegenerative and cognitive disorders.

Her research is funded by the Swiss National Research Foundation, Velux Stiftung, Schmidheiny Foundation, and Aetas Foundation. With over 190 peer-reviewed publications (H-index: 32), she specializes in clinical neuroimaging, nuclear medicine, and molecular imaging validation in European initiatives.
