Valentina Bruno is a Professor of Gynecology and Obstetrics at the University Camillus, affiliated with the Department of Gynecology and Obstetrics. She holds a Medical Degree from the University of Rome Tor Vergata (2011), a PhD in Reproductive Immunology from Linköping University (2020), and is a National Scientific Qualification Holder as a Professor of II Level (MUR, 2021-2023). She serves as a Gynecologic Oncologist and Medical Manager at the National Cancer Institute “Regina Elena” in Rome, focusing on translating immune tolerance mechanisms in maternal-fetal interfaces to cancer immune escape processes.

Research Interests: Her work bridges Reproductive Immunology and Gynecologic Oncology, emphasizing immune mechanisms in maternal-fetal interfaces and cancer immunology. She specializes in laboratory techniques including flow cytometry, immunophenotyping, and cytokine/chemokine assays applied to trophoblast and endometrial research.

Currently teaches in the PhD Program in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology at the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
