Valentin Tomasov

Valentin Tomasov is an Associate Professor at ITMO University and Head of the Scientific and Production Center "Precision Electromechanics." With a PhD, he contributes to research in electrical engineering, power electronics, and instrumentation.

Research Focus

• Design and optimization of semiconductor converters
• Transient processes in rectifier circuits with R-C filters
• Development of powerful power sources with customizable output parameters
• Integration of power supplies for electronic devices

Scientific Contributions

His publications from 1994–1996 address challenges in energy conversion, circuit stability, and power conditioning. He co-authored a 1996 manual on power supplies for electronic devices at ITMO University.
