Valérie LEBOIS

Valérie LEBOIS is an Associate Professor at the AMUP Research Unit of ENSA Strasbourg (University of Strasbourg), where she bridges environmental psychology and architectural practice. Her position as Reader reflects senior academic standing within the French-German academic context of Strasbourg.

Her research interrogates the psychosociological dimensions of living environments, with sustained focus on intermediate spaces in contemporary collective housing. Fieldwork spans Parisian housing developments and Shanghai high-rise neighborhoods through Franco-Chinese collaboration. She pioneers pedagogy centered on sensory architectural experience, emphasizing bodily engagement with space.
