Valérie Flammang serves as a Lecturer at the University of Lorraine, affiliated with the Institut Élie Cartan de Lorraine (IECL), a joint research unit of CNRS and the university. Her primary role is within the Analysis and Number Theory research team at the IECL Metz site, located at 3, rue Augustin Fresnel, Technopole Metz.
Her research centers on Number Theory with specialization in analytic methods, Mathematical Analysis of theoretical frameworks, and Algebra as applied to number-theoretic structures. This work contributes to foundational advancements in pure mathematics, particularly in Diophantine approximation and transcendental number theory.
