Vaidas Šeferis serves as Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Linguistics and Baltic Studies at Masaryk University's Faculty of Arts in Brno, Czech Republic. He is actively involved in the academic community as a member of the Industry Council for General Linguistics and serves on the Program Boards for Baltic Studies (both bachelor's and master's degrees) as well as Vietnamese Studies (bachelor's degree).
