Vahed Maroufy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics and Data Science at the UTHealth School of Public Health in Austin, Texas. He earned his PhD in Statistics and Actuarial Science from the University of Waterloo, Canada, in 2016 and completed a two-year postdoctoral fellowship at the same department before transitioning to his current faculty role.
