Uwe Osswald

Dr. Uwe Osswald (M.Sc. in Organic Chemistry) is a researcher at the Institute of Analytical Chemistry within the Department of Agricultural Sciences at BOKU. His work focuses on advanced carbohydrate chemistry and glycosyltransferase characterization.

Research Interests: Specializing in the chemical synthesis of nucleotide sugars and their modified variants, Osswald develops analytical tools for studying plant glycosyltransferases. His research intersects organic chemistry, enzymology, and plant biochemistry.
