Professor Uta Papen is a faculty member at the Lancaster University within the School of Social Sciences, where she serves as Professor of Literacy Studies and Co-Director of the Literacy Research Centre. Her interdisciplinary research bridges social anthropology, education, and applied linguistics, focusing on literacy as a social and cultural practice.
