Prof. Dr. Uta Maria Walter is a Professor at Alice Salomon University of Applied Sciences Berlin (ASH Berlin), actively teaching courses in social work methodologies, counseling, and scientific writing during the Winter Semester 2025/26. She holds leadership roles in academic governance as a member of the Council and Development Planning Commission.
Her research explores evidence-based practice, clinical interventions for addiction, therapeutic foster care systems, and postmodern pedagogical approaches. Publications from 2009 highlight her work on creative therapies, alcoholism treatment, and child welfare innovations.
