معرفی
Uraz Turker is a Lecturer in Computer Science at Lancaster University's Department of Computing and Communications. His research focuses on model-based testing, particularly in the context of cyber-physical and autonomous systems with self-learning control algorithms. He explores automated techniques for generating efficient test suites using formal models and has recently expanded into quantum computing applications for accelerating software testing.
Key projects include the KTP with Forsberg Services Ltd (2024-2027), the DSI-funded 'Accelerating Software Testing Using Quantum Computing' (2024-2026), and the UKRI Trustworthy Autonomous Systems Node in Verifiability (2022-2024). He is affiliated with research groups such as SCC (Software Engineering), Security Lancaster (Software Security), and the Lancaster Intelligent, Robotic and Autonomous Systems Centre (LIRA).
His publications emphasize finite state machine (FSM) testing, reinforcement learning integration, and parallel algorithms for test sequence generation. He advises PhD students Hanan Alqahtani and Miles Walker, who also serves as an Associate Lecturer.
