Ummul Ruthbah is an Associate Professor (Research) at the Monash Centre for Financial Studies, Monash University. She holds dual external appointments as Associate Professor at the University of Dhaka and previously served as an Assistant Professor there. Her research focuses on superannuation, climate change economics, modern slavery, and development economics. She has extensive industry experience including five years as a World Bank consultant and IMF researcher.
