Umesh Bellur is a Professor of Computer Science at Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IIT Bombay) and a Visiting Professor at the Halıcıoğlu Data Science Institute (HDSI) at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). His career spans academia and industry, with over two decades of experience at IIT Bombay since 2003, alongside a visiting role at UCSD HDSI. He completed his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University.
