Ulrike Malmendier

Ulrike Malmendier is the Edward J. and Mollie Arnold Professor of Finance and Professor of Economics at the University of California, Berkeley, affiliated with the Haas School of Business. She holds dual PhDs in Business Economics (Harvard University, 2002) and Law (University of Bonn, 2000, summa cum laude). Her research focuses on behavioral finance, corporate finance, and the intersection of economics and psychology, exploring how personal histories and biases shape economic decisions.
