Ulrike Leitner

Dr. Ulrike Leitner serves as a Senior scientist at the Berlin-Brandenburg Academy of Sciences and Humanities (BBAW), a premier research institution in Berlin, Germany. She is actively engaged with the "Alexander von Humboldt on the move - Science in motion" initiative, which facilitates global scientific mobility and cross-border research collaboration.

Her research focuses on science policy frameworks, academic career trajectories, and international research ecosystems, directly informed by her operational role in managing scientist mobility programs. This work addresses systemic challenges in global knowledge exchange and researcher development.
