Ulrike Hahn

Ulrike Hahn is a Professor at Birkbeck College, University of London, and a Mercator Fellow at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. She holds a DPhil in Experimental Psychology from Oxford University and previously taught at the University of Warwick and Cardiff University. Her research focuses on categorization, human rationality, language acquisition, and the role of source reliability in belief formation within social networks.

Senior Editorial Board member of Topics in Cognitive Science, Action Editor for Frontiers in Cognitive Science and Frontiers in Social Psychology. Previously served on Psychonomic Bulletin & Review and Psychological Review editorial boards.

Academic Leadership:
Directs the Centre for Cognition, Computation & Modelling at Birkbeck. Active in organizing conferences like the International Conference on Thinking (ICT) and the European Conference on Argumentation.
