Dr. Ulrika Sultan is a Lecturer at Örebro University's School of Science and Technology, Department of Natural Sciences and Technology. She specializes in technology education and gender inclusion in STEM, with a focus on girls' self-image and participation in technical subjects.

Her work has been recognized with awards for promoting diversity in technology education.
Notable scientific awards include the 2024 #addher Awards (Role Model), 2023 Tech Builder and Innovation Award (Women in Technology Nigeria), and 2024 Plan International Girl Award nomination for her doctoral thesis. She actively reviews for journals on technology education, gender, and social issues.
As a co-founder of the Vera concept and ambassador for #1MillionGirlsInSTEM, she drives initiatives to connect girls with engineering professions. Her teaching spans preschool to engineering programs, emphasizing sustainable development, digital games, and curriculum design. She is currently on leave from August 2025 to 2026.
