Ulrich Uwer

Ulrich Uwer is a Professor at the Faculty of Physics, University of Heidelberg, specializing in high-energy experimental particle physics. He leads research focused on high-precision tests of the Standard Model, particularly through the CKM mechanism and CP violation studies in the B meson system. His group participates in the LHCb experiment at CERN and the BABAR experiment at SLAC, with contributions to detector alignment, track reconstruction, and High Level Trigger implementation. He also contributes to the development of gaseous tracking detectors and DAQ electronics.
