Ulrich Becker

Ulrich Becker is a Scientific Member of the Max Planck Society and Director of the Max Planck Institute for Foreign and International Social Law. He holds an honorary professorship in public law at the University of Munich's Faculty of Law. His career includes prior professorships at the University of Regensburg (1996-2002) and visiting scholar roles at Harvard Law School (1999-2000).

• Research Focus: German and European social law, comparative/international social law, and German public law.
• Leadership Roles: Director at Max Planck Institute since 2000; active in international legal societies.
