Ulf Peter Svensson

Ulf Peter Svensson is Professor in Electroacoustics at NTNU's Department of Electronic Systems. His research focuses on computational room acoustics, measurement techniques, auralization, and psychoacoustics of speech/music perception. He holds an MSc in Engineering Physics (1988) and PhD in Acoustics (1994) from Chalmers University of Technology.

Teaching includes courses in Audio Technology, Room Acoustics, and Sensor Instrumentation. He has supervised 10+ PhD students on topics including hearing protection digitization and horn loudspeaker design.

Professional service includes vice-presidencies at the European Acoustics Association (2007-2013) and Initiative for Science in Europe (2024-present).
