Ulf Nilsson is a Professor at Lund University, specializing in molecular recognition studies in biological and artificial systems. His research focuses on the biology, medicinal chemistry, and structure-based drug design of galectins, sialic acid transport proteins, and DHODH enzymes. He leads an independent research group within the Integrative Pharmacology and Drug Discovery theme at LINXS, a neutron and x-ray science community.
