معرفی
Ugo Gianazza is a Full Professor at the University of Pavia's Department of Mathematics, part of the Mathematical Analysis and Applications group. His research focuses on partial differential equations, nonlinear analysis, and degenerate diffusions, with particular emphasis on parabolic equations, Harnack inequalities, and free boundary problems. He holds the position in office E13 and can be contacted at ugopietro.gianazza@unipv.it.
His work includes studies on boundary estimates, Hölder continuity of solutions, and the properties of degenerate and singular parabolic equations. Notable contributions involve the Phragmén-Lindelöf theorems and continuity analysis in multi-phase transition problems. Gianazza has also edited special issues honoring Emmanuele DiBenedetto and contributed to fluid mechanics and mathematical physics through collaborative research.
His research spans theoretical advancements in parabolic De Giorgi classes, quasi-linear systems, and Navier-Stokes equations, with a focus on analytic data and measurable coefficients. Gianazza’s work bridges abstract mathematical analysis with applications in fluid dynamics and porous medium modeling.
