Tímea Schunk is an Assistant Professor at the University of Pécs, affiliated with the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology and the Department of Visual Studies. She holds a Master in Architecture (2003) and a Doctor of Liberal Arts in Architecture (2015). Her academic journey at UP includes roles as assistant lecturer (2014-2021) and course director in graduate programs.

Her research focuses on Traditional Architecture with Contemporary Tools, Sustainable Design, and Digital Presentation Techniques. She has contributed to publications like Tradition and Innovation T+I magazine and participated in exhibitions such as the I. National Salon of Architecture.
Notable projects include designing a Nursery Building (2019-2022) and a Grammar School Expansion (2017-2021). She has also collaborated on eco-village initiatives like MILD HOME, emphasizing environmental design and green infrastructure.
