Tzu-Liang Tseng

Tzu-Liang (Bill) Tseng is Professor and Chair of Industrial, Manufacturing and Systems Engineering at UTEP. His research spans renewable energy, biomedical engineering, AI-driven manufacturing, and quality improvement technologies, with extensive publications in additive manufacturing and smart systems.

He directs projects on 3D printing of sensor devices, AI-based non-destructive testing (funded by Lockheed Martin), and sustainable manufacturing. Recent work includes digital twins for aerospace quality assurance and medical imaging analysis.
