معرفی
Tytti Kärki is a Doctoral Researcher at the Department of Applied Physics, Soft Matter and Wetting, within the School of Science at Aalto University. She holds a Master's degree in Natural Sciences from the University of Helsinki (2018) and focuses on interdisciplinary research at the intersection of biophysics, cell biology, and soft matter physics.
Research Interests include mechanosensitive ion channels (TRPV4/TRPV6), epithelial morphogenesis, actomyosin dynamics, and droplet-surface interactions. Her work addresses UN Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education) through academic contributions and collaborative scientific advancements.
Scientific Outputs reveal expertise in cellular mechanosensitivity and soft matter physics, with publications in high-impact journals (Scientific Reports, PNAS). She has presented at international conferences (Shaking up Tech, Quasi-two-dimensional pseudo-sessile droplets) and served as a reviewer for Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology.
Scientific Awards include a
- Personal Grant for Doctoral Studies (2023)
- Award Date: 14 Jun 2018
