Tyler Michael Seibert

Tyler Michael Seibert, MD, PhD, is a board-certified radiation oncologist affiliated with UC San Diego Health and the UC San Diego School of Medicine. He holds a medical degree from UC San Diego School of Medicine and a PhD in bioengineering from UC San Diego Jacobs School of Engineering. His clinical expertise includes intensity-modulated radiation therapy (IMRT), image-guided radiation therapy (IGRT), stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS), and stereotactic body radiotherapy (SBRT) for cancers such as brain, prostate, and skin cancers.

Dr. Seibert’s research focuses on cancer imaging and genetic risk factors for cancer. He completed residencies in radiation oncology and transitional medicine at UC San Diego School of Medicine and Scripps Mercy Hospital. He is an active member of the American Society for Radiation Oncology and the Radiological Society of North America.

Professional affiliations include UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center. He joined UC San Diego Health in 2018 and is fluent in Spanish.
