Tyler Mason, PhD is an Associate Professor of Clinical Population and Public Health Sciences at the University of Southern California's Keck School of Medicine. His research focuses on behavioral health mechanisms related to eating disorders, substance use (particularly e-cigarette use), and stress responses in daily life. Mason employs ecological momentary assessment (EMA) methodologies to study real-time associations between affective states, environmental exposures, and health behaviors. His work examines vulnerable populations including adolescents, pregnant women, and young adults.
