Tuğçe Bidav is a Lecturer in Digital Labour and Marketing at the Department of Digital Humanities, King’s College London. She previously held positions at Maynooth University, Ireland. Her research examines digital platforms' impact on labor practices, focusing on social media creators, platform affordances, and geopolitical contexts. She co-led the HEA/Shared Island-funded YouGaMSI project analyzing youth exposure to gambling marketing via sports media.

Her work bridges creator cultures, platform studies, and digital labor precarity. She received the 2023 AoIR Dissertation Award and serves on the editorial board of Platforms & Society.
