Tuğba ALTINTAŞ is an Associate Professor in the Department of Health Management at Uskudar University, where she has been since 2016. She serves as Director of the VERİMER Research Center since 2019 and teaches courses such as Biostatistics, Applied Statistics, and Research Methods in Health Sciences. Her academic career spans institutions including Istanbul University and Ondokuz Mayıs University.
- Education: Licence in Business Administration (Istanbul University, 2002), Degree in Applied Statistics (Ondokuz Mayıs University, 2006), Doctorate in Numerical Methods (Istanbul University, 2012).
Research Interests revolve around statistical applications in healthcare, public health, and health management. Her work explores air pollution's health impacts, pandemic-induced lifestyle changes, functional analysis in healthcare institutions, and Monte Carlo simulation applications. She also investigates comparative studies using multidimensional scaling and examines healthcare utilization patterns.
Publications include interdisciplinary studies on childhood asthma and environmental factors (2024), preterm infant developmental support (2023), pandemic nutrition habits (2021), and OECD country comparisons (2022). Her recent projects address distance education perceptions (2025) and mass shootings' public health implications (2025).
