Tushar Sikroria

Dr. Tushar Sikroria is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT Kanpur), where he has been affiliated since 2024. He holds a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Melbourne (2021) and a B.Tech-M.Tech Dual degree in Aerospace Engineering from IIT Kanpur (2013).

His research focuses on turbulent compressible flows, multiphase flows, experimental techniques, turbomachinery, aeroacoustics, and experimental flow diagnostics. Prior to his current role, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the von Karman Institute in Belgium (2022-2023), a Project Engineer at IIT Kanpur's Propulsion Laboratory (2015-2016), and an Engineer at GE Aviation (2013-2015).
