Turgut Bayramoğlu serves as a Professor at Bayburt University within the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences. He holds dual departmental leadership roles as Head of the Department of Economics and Head of the Department of Economic Development and International Economics. Additionally, he represents the faculty on the University Senate, serves on the Faculty Board and Institute Board for Graduate Education, and holds assignments in the Department of Climate Change and Policies.
His research spans International Economics, International Trade, International Political Economy, Regional Development, Globalization, and Sustainable Development, with strong emphasis on UN Sustainable Development Goals frameworks. His scholarly work examines the intersection of economic development policies, international trade dynamics, and globalization impacts on regional economies, particularly within administrative and social science contexts.
Professor Bayramoğlu actively contributes to academic governance through leadership in the Academic Incentive Department Sub-commission, Annual Reports and Publications Department Sub-commission, and Quality and Accreditation Department Sub-commission for Economics. He also serves on the Activity Reports Unit Committee and Internal Control Monitoring Unit Commission, demonstrating comprehensive institutional engagement across research, teaching, and administrative domains.
