Dr. Turgay Korkmaz is a Professor of Computer Science at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA), part of the College of Sciences. He leads the Next Generation Networks Laboratory (NGNL) and specializes in computer networks, security, and Quality-of-Service (QoS) routing. His research focuses on wireless networks, edge computing, containerization, and software-defined networks.

Research Interests: Dr. Korkmaz's work spans computer networks, security mechanisms, QoS routing, and edge computing. He explores container technologies for ARM architectures, decentralized IoT networks, and secure edge-cloud integration. His research also includes network measurement, modeling, and defense strategies against cyber threats.
