Professor Tuck Wah Leong is Deputy Dean (Learning & Teaching) at RMIT University's School of Computing Technologies. His research focuses on human-centered computing, data science, and applied computing with particular emphasis on narrative visualization, healthcare communication, and inclusive technology design. Leong has contributed significantly to understanding usability challenges in self-service technologies and virtual training systems.
His work bridges academic research with practical applications, addressing issues like queer youth experiences on social platforms and ethical considerations in AI-driven self-care tools. Leong collaborates across disciplines to develop innovative solutions for diverse populations including Indigenous communities and elderly users.
