Tu Vu

Tu Vu is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the College of Engineering, Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. His research focuses on Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, and Transfer Learning.

Selected publications highlight advancements in frozen model adaptation, mixture-of-experts scaling, and multimodal foundation models like Gemini. These papers span topics including parameter-efficient learning, cross-modal reasoning, and real-time knowledge integration via search engines.
