Tsvetan Zhelyazkov

Prof. Tsvetan Zhelyazkov is a Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and a pioneering Bulgarian sports scientist at the V. Levski National Academy of Sciences and Arts, where he holds the position of Professor of "Theory and Methodology of Sports Training" and lectures to undergraduate, master's, doctoral, and Physical Education students.

His academic foundation includes:

Zhelyazkov's research revolutionized sports science through rigorous investigation of training optimization, mathematical modeling of athletic performance, and methodological frameworks for elite athlete development. His work bridges theoretical sports pedagogy with practical applications in competitive training systems, emphasizing data-driven approaches to enhance athletic performance while establishing Bulgaria's scientific foundation in sports methodology.
