Trude Gøril Klevan

Trude Gøril Klevan is an Associate Professor at the Department of Health, Social and Welfare Studies within the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences at the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN). She works at the Center for Mental Health and Substance Abuse, combining academic research with practical experience in mental health and child welfare.

• Education: Master in Clinical Health Work (Mental Health specialization), PhD in Person-Centered Health Work

Research Interests include:

• Experiences of effective mental health interventions
• Recovery processes in substance abuse treatment
• Collaborative practices in healthcare
• Critical development of qualitative research methods

Areas of Responsibility encompass mental health work education and serving as Acting Deputy Head of Department for Health, Social Affairs, and Welfare.
