Troy V. Jones serves as Coordinator and Instructor I in the Bower School of Music & the Arts at Florida Gulf Coast University, specializing in Music Education, Percussion, and Athletic Bands instruction.
His educational background includes:

- Master of Music Education from Florida State University
Jones concentrates on Percussion pedagogy and Marching Band leadership, with extensive performance experience in ensembles including the Charlotte Symphony and Sarasota Concert Band. His expertise encompasses percussion literature interpretation and performance techniques refined through studies with renowned percussionists like Gary Werdesheim and Jim Jacobson.

He remains active as an adjudicator, clinician, and arranger for percussion ensembles across Florida and South Carolina.
At FGCU, Jones contributes to Athletic Bands while maintaining professional affiliations with the Florida Bandmasters Association, Music Educators National Conference, and Florida Music Educators Association as a Pi Kappa Lambda inductee.
