Dr. Troy Gibson is an Associate Professor in the Department of Political Science at the University of Southern Mississippi, where he has taught since 2003. A native Mississippian, he specializes in American Politics and Public Law, with a focus on the role of religion in political outcomes and behavior. His research bridges empirical and theoretical perspectives, examining topics such as religious liberty, moral authority in discourse, and cultural policy debates.
