Dr. Tro Kortian is a Lecturer at the University of Sydney. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, specializing in finance and international economics. Prior to his current role, he served as a research economist at the Reserve Bank of Australia for six years and held an Associate Professor position in Economics at Indiana University, Bloomington, USA.

Research Interests: Focus on asset pricing, investor behavior, foreign exchange market microstructure, and global financial regulation. His current ARC-funded research project, co-led with Prof. Peter Swan, examines trading strategies' impact on Australian stock market liquidity and stability.
