Trevor Yu

Trevor Yu is an Associate Professor at the Division of Leadership, Management & Organisation within Nanyang Business School (Nanyang Technological University). He holds a Ph.D. in Organisational Behaviour from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. His roles include Co-Director of the Centre for Research and Development in Learning (CRADLE).

His research focuses on employer branding, strategic recruitment, AI's impact on workplaces, and non-traditional work arrangements. He explores how organizations build cultures through talent attraction, virtual recruitment channels, and the psychological effects of AI algorithms on worker behavior.

Prof. Yu serves on editorial boards for journals like Journal of Applied Psychology and Human Resource Management, co-edited the Oxford Handbook of Recruitment, and contributes to top conferences. He advises organizations on employer branding, workplace culture, and team effectiveness.

Teaching expertise includes courses on human capital management, organizational behavior, and consulting methodologies. His consulting work spans Singapore and U.S. organizations addressing employer branding, workplace climate, and career management strategies.

His research integrates evidence-based approaches to solve organizational challenges, emphasizing data-driven decision-making and bridging academic theory with practitioner needs.
