Tressa Barnes serves as Assistant Professor of Outdoor Adventure Leadership and Sports Management and Interim Director of the Nikao Leadership Institute at Calvary University. She teaches courses in sports psychology, leadership, and outdoor education, emphasizing the application of biblical principles in athletic and leadership contexts. Her research interests focus on understanding athlete motivation and developing character-based leadership models.
Barnes holds a BSc in Diagnostic Radiography from University of Central England (1999) and an MSc in Physical Education, Health & Recreation from Emporia State University (2016). She maintains community engagement through volleyball/basketball coaching and women's ministry initiatives at her local church.
