Trent Thurman

Trent Thurman serves as Assistant Dean & Director of Executive Education and Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin's McCombs School of Business. He leads graduate programs and teaches leadership and organizational behavior, with expertise in global business education and program transformation.

• Education: BS (University of Tennessee), MBA (University of Texas), Ed.D (Marshall University, ABD, expected 2023)

His research focuses on Leadership and Organizational Behavior, emphasizing practical applications in global business settings. Trent has directed graduate-level global seminars across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Middle East, and South America, enhancing cross-cultural learning opportunities.

Trent has led and transformed graduate programs at three universities, including McCombs School of Business and University of Tennessee. He is actively engaged in community roles, such as Austin chapter president of the University of Tennessee Alumni Association and board memberships at Trail Foundation and SXSW EDU Launch Advisory Council.
